Large quantity of CO2 releases from Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) facilities and infrastructure can pose significant hazards and
risks to the surrounding people and environment. To predict the exposure to the environment and to perform safety assessments, reliable
and efficient dispersion modelling in realistic, complex environments is needed. This session will present and demonstrate an advanced
dispersion modelling technology for predicting CO2 dispersion at realistic conditions, which is based on extensive validation against large-scale field tests.
